Harboring Thoughts is an analog narrative prototype of an adventure game that imparts themes of post-truth politics, honesty and social deceit.
It was designed as a 2D exploration title that would involve the player traversing the game world in search of evidence that would get them closer to their goal of retrieving their stolen ship from a pirate gang leader.
Depending on the protagonist’s interactions with NPCs, the player would encounter few or lots of red herrings or misdirection that would impede their overall progress.
