I analyzed the narrative design of Thief: The Dark Project, with special attention given to the way it communicates its story through clever level design and ingenious use of mechanics to convey its intended atmospheric effect and emotional involvement.
I’ve been placed in the Gold Category for the 2017 iteration of the GDC Narrative Review Competition as a result of my work. The poster pictured above was presented at the conference in February of that year.
